What this covers
This Acceptable Use Policy forms part of the Terms of Service. It applies to everything you generate, upload, schedule or publish with Axis, and to how you use the Service itself.
This Policy serves two purposes. It establishes Axis's right to act where an account causes harm, and it passes through the restrictions imposed by the providers of the artificial intelligence models on which the Service depends, so that conduct prohibited by those providers is likewise prohibited here.
People and likeness
Axis does not generate real people. You may not use the Service to create, or attempt to create, an image, video or audio depiction of a real, identifiable person, and you may not upload a real person's likeness or voice as a reference for generation.
This is a complete prohibition at present, not a consent-based permission. We may introduce a controlled, consent-based process in future, and if we do we will publish the requirements here before it opens.
- No synthetic depictions of public figures, celebrities, politicians or private individuals.
- No voice cloning or imitation of a real person's voice.
- No generating a person and presenting them as a real customer, employee, patient or endorser.
Other people's brands
- Do not generate another company's trademarks, logos, wordmarks, packaging or trade dress.
- Do not name real third-party brands in generation instructions. Describe the look instead of naming the brand.
- Do not imply a partnership, sponsorship or endorsement that does not exist.
- You may of course use your own marks, and marks you are licensed to use.
Regulated and harmful claims
Some industries carry rules that no marketing tool can satisfy for you. You are responsible for the claims you publish. Do not use Axis to publish, without your own qualified review:
- medical, health, clinical, treatment or outcome claims, including for aesthetic and wellness services;
- financial, investment, lending, earnings or return claims;
- legal advice or claims about legal outcomes;
- claims about safety, efficacy, ingredients or certification that you cannot substantiate.
Where a claim requires a disclosure, disclaimer or license in your market, adding it is your responsibility.
Deception
- No fake reviews, fake testimonials, fake endorsements or invented case studies.
- No fabricated statistics, results or performance figures.
- No false scarcity, false urgency, or countdowns and stock counters that do not reflect reality.
- No impersonating another business or person.
- No content designed to mislead about who is behind it.
Illegal and abusive content
Do not use Axis to create or distribute anything that:
- sexualises minors in any way, or depicts a minor in a sexual context. We report this to the authorities and terminate immediately and permanently;
- is sexually explicit, or promotes sexual services;
- harasses, bullies, threatens or incites violence against any person or group;
- promotes hatred or discrimination based on a protected characteristic;
- promotes self-harm, disordered eating, or dangerous behaviour;
- facilitates weapons, illegal drugs, human trafficking, or any other illegal activity;
- infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or any other right;
- constitutes malware, phishing, or a scam.
Platform and channel rules
When Axis publishes on your behalf, the receiving platform's rules apply to that post. You are responsible for complying with them, including their advertising policies, disclosure requirements and rules on automation. Do not use Axis to evade a platform restriction, ban or rate limit.
Technical restrictions
- Do not reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract our prompts, model configuration or source code.
- Do not scrape the Service, or access it by automated means other than the interfaces we provide.
- Do not resell, sublicense or provide the Service to a third party as your own, unless we have agreed in writing.
- Do not circumvent Apatite metering, rate limits, seat limits or any other technical control.
- Do not create accounts by automated means, or hold multiple accounts to obtain free allowances more than once.
- Do not probe or test our security without following the process on our Security page.
Model provider rules
Axis is built on AI models supplied by third parties. Their usage policies apply to what you generate through us, and by using the Service you agree not to do anything with it that their policies prohibit. Where a provider's rule is stricter than this Policy, the stricter rule applies. We may update this Policy without notice to reflect a change a provider makes, because we have no choice about those.
Reporting and enforcement
Report a violation to help@axismarketing.ai. We investigate what we receive and what we detect.
Depending on severity we may warn you, remove content, restrict a feature, suspend the account, or terminate it. For a serious violation, particularly anything in section 6, we act immediately and without warning, and no refund is due. Where the law requires it, we report to the authorities.
Suspension for a breach of this Policy does not entitle you to a refund of fees or of Apatite. See the Apatite Credit Terms.
